“To terrify children with the image of hell, to consider women an inferior creation—is that good for the world?”

Online Child Abuse
This is any kind of abuse of a child that happens on the internet.
Online child abuse can include:
- grooming
- sexual abuse
- sexual exploitation, and
- emotional abuse.
Children can feel particularly vulnerable to this as there’s no need for their abuser to have physical proximity to them. When abuse happens online, it can happen at any time of day or night, and it can easily invade a child’s ‘safe spaces’, like their home or their bedroom.
Who’s Responsible?
Police have a team working to protect children from online child abuse.
What they’ll do
We recommend you report online child abuse directly to relevant authorities.
Make a report by phoning or visiting your local police station.
